Randi & Josh's Wedding

The tiny little details of her dress & shoes

The Dress

Adding the final details including the veil that is
Randi was totally loving the pre-cremony shots we took at the hotel
This may go down as being one of my favorite wedding photos in history

Bridesmaids always coordinate their shoes so perfectly!
The adorable bridesmaids and Mr. Seemar
The Wedding Party looked absolutely stunning with the colors of the green field, yellow barn, blue sky, etc.!

Randi & Josh wanted some photos taken in her fathers old Ford he had parked in the middle of the field.
I loved this picture I captured during the father daughter dance; I definitely think the blur added to the mood of the photo.
Had a little fun with one of the groomsmen smoking a cigar
By the end of the night Jim and I caught our Bride and Groom red handed trying to sneak away from the reception for a smooch in the porta potty!

Mr. & Mrs. Anderson

"Brian & Peri Anderson" had a gorgeous beach front wedding in New Rochelle, NY at the Green Tree Club.

Flowers were perfect with the blue silk

The ring bearer was a real character & bottle collector

From Peri's GORGEOUS dress, to the cake she made herself (yes she is a pastry chef) to her husband musician Brian Kenneth from Fooling April singing a song he specially wrote for his new wife! It was quite unique.

Lauren & Billy - June Wedding

“They say rain on your wedding day means good luck”- If that’s the case Lauren and Billy Milstid are two of the luckiest newlyweds you’ll meet. Right in the middle of shooting the bride and groom the skies opened up and sent us all racing across the 98 acres of the Morris Arboretum in golf carts trying to find cover in Philadelphia, PA. Luckily the chauffeur got us to safety in the knick of time. Needless to say all of us got a little drenched but it was a lot of fun!
I have been so lucky to work with such great, enthusiastic couples. Lauren and Billy had such a laid back, fun attitude about them the whole night. Photographing a wedding doesn’t feel anything like a job with such easy people to work with. Certain moments throughout the day really stick and make me appreciate being a part of their special day. For instance when I was photographing Lauren as she was getting ready before the wedding. As I was leaving to set up to capture the ceremony, she asked “where are you going?”. When I told her I had to set up for the ceremony and she asked me not to leave, and that I was keeping her calm. I thought that was one of the nicest statements ever!

It really made me feel more like a friend than a just someone doing a job. The wind and rain that night ended up not mattering at all, all in all. We even had a really beautiful sunset. The locations were beautiful, and Lauren and Billy looked perfect. The rain didn’t dampen the spirits of anyone that attended the wedding. The seven-piece band, which played all night, was great…oh, and the shots of Jamison probably helped a little bit too. It came time to leave and Billy and Lauren were off to a honeymoon in Costa Rica!

The Family History in a Wedding Gown

Thought it would be interesting to do a series of Vintage Wedding gowns, and so I took it upon myself to revisit the attic closet and get my hands on my mothers, and grandmothers wedding gowns.
As I like to say a nice capture: "It's all in the tiny little details"

Yacht Club -Long Island NY. May 21, 2008

So after completing my first wedding of the 2008 season I am stoked to do so, so many more! Working with my clients isn't just work, and certainly not something I would just call a job. I absolutely adore the couples who choose to work with me based on the sole reason of liking the work I have already produced, and are willing to go out on a limb for that shot they are going to remember forever. It's such an honorable feeling to be chosen for documenting one of the most important days of their lives and be trusted enough to capture everything that happens through my eyes. I feel so accomplished in the fact that by the end of the wedding day the bride, groom, parents and guests at the reception were thanking me for everything I had done for them, and I couldn't grasp why they were thanking me; when I had such an excellent time spending time with them and letting me be a part of their day.

I always return their Thank you's with my own sincere Thank you. After a long, hard, demanding day of shooting it feels wonderful to be able to walk up to the mother of the bride and tell her she feels like family to me.
Salena & Ryan Fehnel's Wedding was phenomenal!

Long Island, NY. (May 20th, 2008)

This was shot "The night of Salena & Ryan's Wedding rehearsal" It decided to rain on my parade the entire 5hr. drive up, making traffic unbearable. However, mother nature allowed New York to clear up and on our way out of the Yacht Club; Krista and I decided to capture some shots of this exceptional view. This picture made the entire trip + traffic worth capturing either of these 2 photographs.
